The ABP UK Farm Ambassador programme was created to make this happen. We empowered a select group of forward-thinking farmers across our supply network to drive best practice, trial innovative approaches and bring us closer to our supply base
Action
The Farm Ambassador initiative brings together farmers from a broad range of regions, livestock systems and land types to reflect the diversity of the UK beef and lamb industry. The programme empowers a passionate, skilled and dedicated group of ABP suppliers to champion the values of sustainable beef and lamb production, innovation, and agricultural technology. Farm Ambassadors act as trusted voices within the farming community, while also representing the wider agricultural sector. Ambassadors share updates with other farmers through social media, case studies and farm walks. They bridge the gap between ABP, the agricultural community, and the public, helping to foster a better understanding through constructive feedback on sustainability tools, reporting frameworks and support programmes.
