School visit brings learning to life at ABP Poland trial farm

Second class students from Jana Pawła II Primary School in the Suchy Las region, north of Poznań, enjoyed a memorable day out on 14 May at an ABP Poland trial farm.
The visit offered a great mix of learning and fun, with plenty of opportunities to explore life on a working farm. The day began with an introduction to the farm’s history, along with insights into cattle breeding and the day-to-day work of farmers. It was a valuable way for students to connect with nature and understand where food comes from.

A range of activities kept everyone engaged throughout the day. Educational quizzes gave students the chance to test their knowledge, with lots of enthusiasm and participation on display.

The butter-making workshops were a clear highlight. Students saw firsthand how milk is turned into butter and learned more about how dairy products are produced.
There was also time to enjoy some outdoor activities including a scavenger hunt, an inflatable slide and pony rides, all of which brought plenty of energy and excitement to the day.

A BBQ and ice cream provided a perfect end to an enjoyable and educational experience.
