Purpose
Ronald McDonald House helps keep families close to their children when they are seriously unwell or have a long-term illness in hospital. ABP supports the charity in its mission to provide local accommodation, care and support to parents and siblings during these times of stress.
Action
Ronald McDonald House provides comfortable, supportive accommodation for families whose children are receiving treatment at CHI Crumlin, enabling them to stay near the hospital and maintain family routines during periods of significant stress.
ABP contributes to this work by taking part in the charity’s fundraising events and volunteering initiatives, including the annual Tower Drop and Golf Classic. Our teams also volunteer their time to help cook meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
Impact
Through this partnership, families facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives are able to stay close to their children and receive the emotional and practical support they need. The charity’s work helps relieve financial and logistical pressures, allowing parents to focus entirely on their child’s care.
